Can I request a refund of the idealista Service Fee?

The idealista Service Fee covers the costs associated with the Online Booking Service provided on our platform, ensuring secure conditions and appropriate support through our specialised customer service team.

If a cancellation is requested by the tenant outside the deadlines set in each of the Cancellation Policies, there is no entitlement to a refund. Likewise, if you do not check in within 48 hours of the actual start of the booking, this will be considered a no-show.

However, if you notice any significant issues with the property, you can request a refund of the booking and the commission within the established timeframes.

You may request a refund if the property has serious problems such as:

  • Substantial discrepancies compared to the listing.
  • Inability to use the property during the agreed period.
  • Conditions affecting habitability (e.g., infestations, lack of water or electricity, structural problems, etc.).

The booking will not be refunded for subjective reasons (for example, disliking the neighbourhood, sharing the property with people of another gender, or changing your plans). Nor will a refund be issued if sufficient evidence of the issue is not provided.
