Ilunion Hotels has announced that it is expanding its portfolio adding the Myramar Fuengirola Aparthotel, now called Ilunion Miramar. This new property brings the total number of hotel establishments it operates to 31, being the fourth on the Costa del Sol, strengthening its holiday offer in one of Spain's most popular tourist destinations.
The complex, covering almost 23,000 square metres, comprises three five-storey buildings with 229 one and two-bedroom flats. The aparthotel has three swimming pools, one of which is indoor, seven paddle tennis courts, a gymnasium, a sauna, a Jacuzzi and a meeting room. It also has 48 private parking spaces, three restaurants and spacious outdoor areas, including a children's playground.
"This establishment consolidates our presence on the Costa del Sol and allows us to reach and serve a wider segment of the market, increasing profitability and critical mass to continue growing and building our brand in Spain," explained the company's CEO, José Ángel Preciados.
Economic value from the first year of activity
The company assures that Fuengirola, with its constant year-round flow of Spanish and international tourists, gives Ilunion the chance to maximise its profitability, "as it provides economic value from the very first year of activity".
Ilunion Miramar brings diversity to Ilunion Hotels' offer in Fuengirola, where the company already operates a four-star hotel managed as a Special Employment Centre, with almost 73% of its staff being disabled.
It also bolsters its strategy to capture a wider segment of the market, and positions the brand in the British market, the main source of tourists in Malaga town.
