He is scheduled to arrive on Tuesday, 9 June at midday and will remain in the city until the morning of Thursday, 11 June. The main events will take place from the afternoon of 9 June and throughout 10 June.

Tuesday, 9 June
- Arrival in Barcelona (midday): Official reception at El Prat airport before transferring to the city centre.
- Prayer at Barcelona Cathedral (approximately 1 p.m.): Midday Prayer with the cathedral chapter, priests and seminarians. This is a short liturgical prayer.

Tickets for the Pope's visit to Barcelona
Some events will require prior registration or accreditation, particularly those with limited capacity. In general, tickets are managed through official channels of the archdiocese and participating parishes. The following events require a ticket or accreditation:
- Vigil at the Olympic Stadium: Tickets were free and allocated via online registration, but ran out within minutes. Access is only permitted with a named ticket.
- Mass at the Sagrada Familia: Very limited access to the interior of the church. Screens will be set up outside to follow the mass.
