British luxury hotel chain Iconic Luxury Hotels has unveiled its first Andalusian property: the Gran Marbella Resort & Beach Club, a five-star gem on Marbella’s Real de Zaragoza beach.
Blending traditional Andalusian architecture with sleek contemporary design, the resort champions wellness, gastronomy and slow luxury.
With 135 rooms and suites, four outdoor pools, a 24-hour gym, and diverse dining options, its flagship restaurant La Terraza serves Mediterranean delights like seafood linguine and Málaga-style tuna. The Garden Bar, Lobby Bar and Pool Bar offer varied settings to complete the culinary experience.

A key new addition opening in August 2025 is the exclusive Amù Beach Club, a Monégasque concept making its Spanish debut, inspired by the French Riviera’s beach lifestyle.
In September 2025, the resort will also welcome a Champneys spa – marking the British wellness brand’s first European location outside the UK. Housed within Amù Beach Club, the spa will include a studio offering conscious movement and personalised relaxation classes.

“Gran Marbella Resort & Beach Club marks a new chapter for Iconic Luxury Hotels. It is our first venture into Andalusia and a clear expression of our commitment to timeless, curated hospitality. This resort is more than just a destination; it is a celebration of Mediterranean culture, design and well-being – an oasis in the heart of the Costa del Sol,” said Francisco Macedo, Senior Vice President of Asset Management at Iconic Luxury Hotels.
The resort will join the Iconic Luxury Hotels portfolio, a rapidly expanding company with a strong international presence. Iconic Luxury Hotels is part of L+R Hotels, a family-owned global hotel investment and management group overseeing over 115 hotels and 23,000 rooms across the UK, Europe, the US and the Caribbean.
