Sierra Blanca Estates, a developer specialising in the luxury sector on the Costa del Sol, has secured the major construction permit to begin work on Design Hills Dolce&Gabbana Marbella, the prestigious Italian brand’s first residential complex in Europe. This ambitious project marks a milestone for the company, redefining residential luxury, with completion scheduled for the second half of 2028.
Design Hills Dolce&Gabbana Marbella is more than a collection of high-end homes; it is a comprehensive mixed-use development combining residential, commercial, artistic and gastro spaces. With sales already exceeding €300 million, the project embodies the contemporary sophistication and distinctive style that define the Dolce&Gabbana brand.
"Obtaining the licence marks a turning point for our company and for residential luxury in Europe. Collaborating with Dolce & Gabbana has allowed us to create a unique project that elevates architecture, design and lifestyle to their highest expression. We are confident that this development will further establish Marbella as a global benchmark for design and exclusivity,” says Carlos Rodríguez, CEO of Sierra Blanca Estates.
The complex will comprise five main buildings offering 94 homes, ranging from 280 m² to 900 m², all designed by Dolce & Gabbana in collaboration with renowned international studios including Fresh Architectures, Storage Milano, The One Atelier and Morph. Each home will feature spacious terraces, private pools, gardens and advanced home automation systems to ensure maximum comfort.
Architecturally, the development is defined by large-format porcelain ventilated facades, solid-surface overhangs, glass railings and minimalist woodwork that seamlessly integrate the interiors with the natural surroundings and panoramic views of the Mediterranean. Interiors will showcase large-format wall tiles, marble flooring and exclusive landscaping, reflecting contemporary luxury at its finest.
Spanning a plot of over 90,000 m², the project will also feature public spaces dedicated to fashion, art, food and leisure, underlining its innovative and avant-garde approach in the luxury real estate market. Notably, these are the only branded residences Sierra Blanca is developing in this area. The company is also working on the second phase of Epic Marbella by Fendi Casa (the first phase has already been delivered) and five exclusive villas by Karl Lagerfeld.
