The Notarial College of Valencia has launched a free assistance service for all those affected by the recent storm, referred to as "DANA" in Spanish, in the province of Valencia.
Specifically, individuals whose properties have been flooded can access a notarial service to search for, issue, and provide free copies of the public deeds of their properties, lost as a result of the flooding.
Additionally, the Notarial College of Valencia will also offer free, online management of notarial acts required by those affected to report property damage for private residences to insurers or the Consorcio de Compensación de Seguros.
To this end, the Notarial College of Valencia has set up a dedicated communication channel (via email at afectadosdana@valencia.notariado.org) for this free notarial service, which will remain active as long as needed for all residents of the DANA-affected areas in the Valencian Community.
Furthermore, the Notarial College of Valencia advises that a search tool is available on their website at valencia.notariado.org, listing all notaries in the region so that residents can contact the nearest one. All notaries within the Notarial College of Valencia are equipped to act in the affected communities.
