The German chain The Flag has chosen the Costa del Sol to launch its luxury hotel concept with wellness services in Spain.
Located in Estepona (Malaga), this accommodation opened its doors in spring 2023, although it is now adding professional wellness programmes to its services. The programmes, including functional diagnoses, nutritional assessments and personalised physical exercise plans, among others, have been available since April.
Moreover, the hotel has a spa and offers state-of-the-art non-invasive beauty treatments with the help of the internationally renowned London Clinic Marbella, founded by John Corbett, located within the facilities.
"This holistic approach not only aims to improve fitness but create a complete, multi-faceted rejuvenation experience," says Rüdiger Hollweg, general director of The Flag Costa del Sol.
The four-storey hotel has 78 rooms with different categories: from classic studios to luxury suites, with surface areas between 50 and 70 m2. All have a kitchen and balcony or terrace, while the more exclusive units boast views of the Mediterranean.
For the last 14 years, the German hotel group The Flag has been developing and managing residential facilities for students, young professionals and retirees in several countries, including Germany, Switzerland, Spain and the USA. The chain's current portfolio includes 19 units with more than 2,500 apartments.
