Are you thinking about changing your life around and moving to a new city, but not sure where that would be? InterNations surveyed 7,985 ex-pats from 40 different countries to find out the best place for ex-pats in the world. A city had to be mentioned at least 45 times by expats to be included in the ranking. In the top 10 you can find Barcelona and Madrid, which is the third most ex-pat friendly place in the world.

The ranking is based on quality of life and cost of living, as well as work, finances and how easy it is to settle into the city (and not forgetting the price of beer!). All prices given are for monthly costs.
