We travel to the Maldives, a (highly) desirable holiday destination for beach lovers bathed in turquoise waters. The Milaidhoo Maldives, as it is called, is tucked away in the heart of a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve on an island paradise.
This five-star resort is on a small tropical island, an emerald drop of paradise enveloped in soft white sands, surrounded by a thriving coral reef.

Opened in November 2016, Milaidhoo Maldives, a luxury boutique resort, was built near Hanifaru Bay, 126 kilometres northwest of Malé. "Our resort is perfect for nature lovers, as our own coral reef, which surrounds the island, is a protected area and makes for an excellent diving and snorkelling spot," reads the accommodation's website.
The beautiful little island, abundant with tropical vegetation, measures only 300m by 180m and is surrounded by a wide, white sandy beach – a perfect place for guests seeking peace and privacy.
