The Zel Costa Brava hotel, the second of the brand created by Meliá Hotels International and Rafa Nadal, will open in June in Cala Giverola, a few miles from one of the Costa Brava's most emblematic towns, Tossa de Mar.

This debut, just a year after Zel Mallorca's opening, is part of the intensive expansion process initiated by the Mediterranean brand, which has already announced that it will also land in Mexico in 2025.

The Balearic hotel brand plans to add four new properties this year (two in Spain: the Tossa de Mar and another on Madrid's Gran Vía and two in the Caribbean: Zel Sayulita and Zel Punta Cana), confirming its ambitious goal of opening around 20 establishments over the next few years.

The new hotel, located 20 miles from Girona-Costa Brava International Airport and 68 miles from Barcelona Airport, will offer its guests exclusive relaxation and wellness experiences.

Like the Zel Palmanova, this four-star hotel will also have a restaurant under the Beso brand. Likewise, the establishment will be committed to gourmet cuisine and will have leisure, sports and wellness facilities.

The hotel has 214 rooms and suites divided into various categories of one, two or three rooms. Zel Costa Brava has respected the original organic architecture, striving to blend in with the environment and respecting nature.

The new urban leisure and holiday hotel brand "with a Mediterranean essence", which began operating in the summer of 2023, was born to reach more than 20 establishments in the next five years in the world's main destinations in Europe, the Middle East, Asia and America.

The first of the hotels to emerge from this alliance between the tennis player and the Balearic hotel company was Zel Mallorca, located in the heart of Palmanova beach, which opened in June 2023 with 165 rooms (21 of which are suites or junior suites).
