Spanish developer Caledonian has officially commenced construction on The St. Regis Residences, Casares – Costa del Sol, marking the first branded residence development from the prestigious St. Regis brand in Spain and one of the few in Europe. Situated within the exclusive Finca Cortesin estate, nestled between Sotogrande and Marbella, this project represents a significant milestone in luxury homes managed by a leading hotel brand.
The initial phase, now underway following the completion of earthworks, includes the construction of four buildings that will comprise 26 of the 46 planned residences. It also features the most iconic communal spaces of the complex: an impressive 1,250 m² wellness centre, complete with a spa, gym, yoga and Pilates studios, heated pools, a wine cellar, private cinema, function rooms, a library and more.
The residences, offering two to four bedrooms and floor areas ranging from 270 to 590 square metres, include options such as ground-floor apartments and penthouses with private pools. All homes will boast stunning Mediterranean views and feature high-quality materials, including solid oak interiors and exterior finishes of concrete, glass and wood. Prices range from €2.4 million to €7.5 million.
A standout feature of the development is the branded residence experience, granting owners access to the exclusive St. Regis Butler Service. From personalised shopping and leisure bookings to laundry care, event planning and home maintenance, every detail is designed to provide a carefree lifestyle, reflecting the renowned luxury standards of Marriott International.
The sales office is set to open this May at the same location, with the show home available for viewing from December. Caledonian expects owners of the first phase to move into their new homes in around two years.
