In 2022, Rosalía and Rauw Alejandro invested in an architectural gem on the outskirts of Manresa: a modernist farmhouse over a century old. Known as the La Morera, the property spans more than 2,600 square metres.
Listed as a Cultural Asset of Local Interest, the building is notable for its modernist design and expansive terraces overlooking Montserrat. Set on a 30-hectare estate, it features ten bedrooms, a swimming pool, a garden and additional living quarters. Following the couple’s split, La Morera farmhouse is currently on the market.
Rosalía's Barcelona flat
Although Rosalía spends much of the year in the United States for professional reasons, she has maintained a strong connection to Barcelona by acquiring a distinctive single-family home in the Poblenou neighbourhood. During the pandemic, Rosalía found an ideal retreat in Miami. She spent the lockdown in an exclusive home on the outskirts of the city, a residence that quickly became iconic among her fans. The single-storey, 2,000-square-foot property features three bedrooms and three bathrooms, all styled with a modern yet cosy aesthetic.
The exterior is a highlight, boasting a rectangular pool surrounded by lush vegetation and access to a private jetty. The architectural design emphasises modernity, with a façade clad in wooden panels, complemented by palm trees and large stone slabs.
Where is Rosalía from?
Rosalía Vila Tobella was born in Sant Esteve Sesrovires, a small town of 9,000 inhabitants in Baix Llobregat, near Barcelona. From a young age, she developed a deep connection to the region’s culture and music, influences that have shaped her artistic career and the identity she presents to the world.
During her time in Barcelona, Rosalía has lived in several neighbourhoods. In her early independent years, she shared a flat with two flatmates in Sant Andreu, in the city’s northeast, and later lived in the Bogatell area, close to the sea.
