The new skyscraper in Benidorm, which will be Europe's tallest residential building, has taken another step forward. Construction of this 64‑storey, 230‑metre‑tall development is progressing well, and the ground floor slab – the massive structure that will support the building known as TM Tower – is now complete.
In addition to the construction work, the marketing of the 260 apartments in the building is also advancing. According to TM Grupo Inmobiliario, the project’s developer, half of the available homes have already been reserved, driven primarily by Polish, Spanish and Ukrainian buyers.
“The residential project is experiencing strong international demand, led by buyers from Poland (36.5%) and Spain (31.3%), who together account for approximately 68% of sales. Ukraine ranks third with 13.9%, followed by other Eastern European countries. The average purchase price is €974,607, confirming the project’s positioning in the premium residential segment,” explains the Alicante‑based group.
The strong presence of Polish buyers coincides with the milestone the project represents, as TM Tower will become the tallest residential skyscraper in the European Union, surpassing Złota 44, the current benchmark in Warsaw.
As TM Grupo Inmobiliario notes, “Złota 44 has been a benchmark for European residential architecture for years and is one of Warsaw’s most iconic contemporary buildings. Now, that distinction is set to pass to TM Tower, a new landmark development driven from Spain.” The new Spanish tower will be 38 metres taller and have 12 more floors than its Polish counterpart.

The residential tower is located just 50 metres from Poniente Beach in Benidorm and will feature 260 homes with between one and four bedrooms, along with 10,000 m² of communal areas and high‑end amenities. These include wellness spaces, gyms, a cinema room, heated swimming pools, gardens, sports facilities and a sky bar on the penultimate floor with an observatory offering panoramic views of the Mediterranean.
According to the idealista listing, prices start at €607,000 for one‑bedroom units on the lower floors, while the most exclusive and spacious homes – with four bedrooms and more than 200 m² – exceed €2 million.
The TM Tower development involves an investment of €140 million, making it one of the most ambitious residential projects in Europe, as well as an architectural milestone.
In addition to its height, the Alicante‑based developer has highlighted key figures that illustrate the scale of the project. For the foundation and structural base of the skyscraper "5,319 m³ of concrete and 245 tonnes of steel have been used. This robust base is designed to support approximately 85,000 tonnes once construction is complete – equivalent in weight to 8.5 Eiffel Towers or around 200 large commercial aircraft".
Following the completion of this initial phase, the project now enters its most visible stage with the execution of the vertical structure.
