The American luxury hotel chain Nobu Hotels, owned by actor Robert de Niro, film producer Meir Teper and Japanese chef Nobu Matsuhisa, will open the Nobu Sevilla Hotel in the heart of the Spanish city of Seville in spring this year. This project is the result of a partnership between the company and Millenium Hospitality Real Estate, a real estate investment company in the luxury hotel sector in Spain and Portugal.

The new hotel will be the third that both companies open in the country, after the ones in Madrid and San Sebastián. Nobu Hotels already has six hotels in Spain (also in Barcelona, Marbella and Ibiza).

Nobu Sevilla will have a privileged location. It will be located at numbers 11 and 12 of the central Plaza San Francisco, opposite the Town Hall and very close to the Cathedral and the Giralda. As highlighted by Millenium Hospitality Real Estate, "the hotel is the result of the comprehensive renovation of three historic palatial buildings of traditional Sevillian architecture, which has the attraction of having encountered the famous city wall during its rehabilitation".

This four-storey, five-star hotel comes to offer a "hitherto non-existent" offer to all those who decide to visit the Andalusian city. It will have a total of 25 rooms, spa, gym, restaurant and a large terrace with pool, according to Europa Press.

"Bringing to the city of Seville an experience as fascinating as that offered by Nobu, both in its fantastic restaurant and its hotels, is undoubtedly a source of pride for us. We are also convinced that the new Nobu Sevilla will be very well received by both the locals who come to enjoy the restaurant and the hotel guests," said Javier Illán Plaza, president and CEO of Millenium Hospitality Real Estate, quoted in a statement by the international press.
