Europe boasts plenty of cultural wonders, including some of the world's most beautiful universities. And the best thing is that you don't have to break the bank to visit them. Online language course platform The Knowledge Academy has compiled a list of the best-value museums in Europe, with British art galleries ahead of the Louvre in Paris and El Prado in Madrid.
London is home to Europe's two best museums – the National Gallery and the Natural History Museum – both rated 4.5 stars on Tripadvisor and offer free entry to visitors.

The Louvre in Paris ranked third with 102,506 reviews and over 5 million Instagram hashtags. Madrid and Amsterdam claim other top spots, with El Prado National Museum and the Anne Frank House ranked as the best-value museums to visit this summer.
To compile the list, they considered Tripadvisor reviews, location, ticket prices, Instagram popularity and opening hours on Saturdays and other days.
