It's the only place in Spain that has made the ranking released by the US company, Bloomberg

The Spanish autonomous community, Andalusia, appears in this recent ranking complied by Bloomberg and shares this privilege with countries like Montenegro or Bolivia, with cities such as Cairo or states like Alaska. In addition, the publication outlines the reasons for each choice, including the best places to visit, the best times to visit these places and the average price of a hotel room per month.

Bloomberg's list also includes some unexpected destinations that are so remote that perhaps no tourist has ever thought of visiting such places as the nomadic villages of Kyrgyzstan, the archaeological ruins of Guatemala and the unspoiled landscapes of Lombok (Indonesia). There are also sleepy beach towns that are embellished with elegant hotels, or classic cities revitalised by restaurants and cultural institutions.

In Spain, Bloomberg highlights Andalusia and talks about the "many secrets" that the countryside holds and mentions its “white villages” located on the mountain tops. In addition, they recommend visiting the region between the months of October and March, although for beach lovers it is possible to do so from the beginning of May or June because these are times that, despite being high season, the figures have not yet reached the highs seen in July and August. Finally, they advise tourists not to go at Easter time, due to "congestion and accommodation fees", although this is also one of the best moments of the year to experience traditional Spanish culture. This puts Andalusia on the map, not only as one of the best places to visit in Spain, but in the world.

Among the most unusual destinations, the already mentioned Kyrgyzstan stands out. Bloomberg points out that it is a logistical challenge to visit the nomadic villages, picturesque mosques and architecture of this country, but this task is made much easier by some high-end tour operators who have managed to bring the country's most inaccessible mountains and beaches closer to visitors. In this case, the best time to go is between the months of June and August, because between November and March the cold winter and the snow make guided tours difficult. In addition, the price of the night per hotel (less than 200 euros in almost every month of the year) compensates for the high cost of the plane ticket.

Lombok, "Bali's unknown neighbour", also stands out among these remote landscapes of the planet. Its strong point is its virgin beaches and waterfalls that compensate for the scarce number of Hindu temples - a great tourist attraction. The average price for a room per night and person does not surpass 150 euros at any time of the year and Bloomberg recommends traveling in the window of the months of April and October. However, it’s not recommended doing so between the months of November and March because of the high level of humidity.
