The official opening of one of the most eagerly awaited residential projects in Valencia has arrived: the Ikon Tower, a skyscraper of flats 110 metres and 29 storeys high.
The building, promoted by Kronos Homes and the posthumous work of the architect Ricardo Bofill, is located next to the Palacio de Congresos and the Nou Mestalla stadium, is the tallest residential building in the city and includes flats and penthouses with between one and four bedrooms.
After finishing the works, the developer set the official inauguration of the building, which it describes as "Valencia's new architectural landmark". The grand opening took place on 27th June.
There are still units for sale on idealista from 435,000 euros, all of them with terraces, although only 80 m2. The most spacious flats cost around 700,000 euros, while the most exclusive homes cost over one million euros: these are penthouses with three bedrooms, over 200 m2 and views of the coastal city of Valencia, the sea and the mountains. Those on the top 2 floors of the building cost more than 2 million euros and have panoramic views.
On the design of the skyscraper, Kronos explains that "Ikon is a project for the future. A personal vision of Ricardo Bofill that interprets the most cosmopolitan Mediterranean and translates it into architecture. Its master lines are destined to become a landmark in the city's skyline".
The interior of the building is characterised by its large windows and open spaces, while the most characteristic feature of Ikon's communal areas is an impressive communal swimming pool with solarium, as well as a gym and a gourmet social area.
