PTT Interiorismo completed an impressive renovation on this cosy 60-m2 flat in Barcelona's Eixample neighbourhood. This two-bedroom, two-bathroom flat gained a sense of space thanks to its natural light. Moreover, the renovation allowed the kitchen to be joined to the living and dining room, turning it into a large, open-plan space.
This space – which also has access to the terrace – features sandy tones, micro-cement floors, stuccoed walls, and black details that create a simple and natural atmosphere.
A cosy dining room connected to the living room and kitchen
PTT Interiorismo aimed to create a cosy space in the dining room, using wood, which is the main feature of the table and the chairs. The custom-made wall-mounted cupboard for storing utensils was made from the same material.
The monochromatic palette continues with a dark, velvety sofa and a TV table in solid natural wood. The L-shaped open-plan kitchen also has an island with stools where two people can eat breakfast.
The terrace boasts stunning views of the Sagrada Familia and is a remarkable addition to the flat. It is tiled in striking green and white ceramic tiles with geometric patterns. A small masonry bench with a bespoke cushion in white makes this space even more useful.
Minimalist bathrooms and bedrooms
The flat's two bathrooms were also renovated in line with the rest of the property, emphasising cosy lighting and furniture with rounded lines. Soft tones are used, contrasting with the black detailing.
Finally, the bedrooms follow the same style, with few elements that provide visual peace. A rattan headboard, a wooden bedside table and two black hanging lamps accentuate a style without cluttering the room.
With this renovation, PTT Interiorismo wanted to prove the infinite possibilities a 60-m2 flat offers despite its reduced space. A comfortable common area to share moments with family and friends, a unique terrace, two bedrooms and two bathrooms were enough to transform this property in the heart of Barcelona.
