Fergus Group, a company specialising in hotel repositioning and owned by Mallorcan businessman Pep Cañellas, has announced the official opening of Fergus Style Punta Arabí, its latest addition to the premium segment, on 15 May.
Perched on a cliff with views of Tagomago Island and nestled in the heart of Es Canar, the newly renovated 4-star resort seamlessly blends into its natural surroundings, with architecture inspired by traditional Ibizan villages. The property has undergone a complete overhaul, elevating its status from 2 to 4 stars as part of the hotel group's strategy for expansion and asset transformation.
The hotel boasts 329 rooms spread across traditional Ibizan white villas, along with three restaurants, three bars, an outdoor pool with stunning sea views, a gym and a diverse programme of cultural and entertainment activities.
One of the hotel's main attractions is its integration with the iconic Es Canar Hippy Market, the oldest and largest on the island, held every Wednesday and open to both guests and visitors.
The hotel's opening also provides a boost to the local economy, having created 117 jobs since the renovation project began. The complex is managed by Raúl Ariza, a seasoned professional with extensive experience in hotel management on the island.
With this new establishment, Fergus Group now has 32 hotels in its portfolio and consolidates its commitment to a more sustainable, innovative and customer-centric tourism model. The group, founded in 2011, has invested more than €110 million in hotel repositioning along the Spanish coast.
