A new residential project is coming to one of the main destinations on the Costa Blanca. This complex has almost 2,000 homes and an investment of close to €375 m, which will be located in Torrevieja. This is 'Lagoons Village', promoted by the developer TM Grupo Inmobiliario.

According to the Alicante-based company, which specialises in building second homes on the Mediterranean coast and the Caribbean, the total surface area of the development is 264,000 m2, and the project will be carried out in 11 phases to build a total of 1,800 homes, making it one of the most ambitious projects it has undertaken to date.

The complex will have communal areas with large landscaped areas, swimming pools, jacuzzis, decorative lakes and paths. Moreover, the group will also develop the so-called Plan Parcial de La Hoya, with new roads and accesses, wide avenues and green areas and a sports centre for the homeowners to be equipped with different services. Among them are a heated swimming pool, indoor and outdoor gymnasium, sports courts, spa, and beauty and physiotherapy treatment rooms.

The Alicante holding company explains that 'Lagoons Village' is located next to the Torrevieja International Auditorium, very close to the Quirón Hospital and has a wide variety of food and leisure services, primary and secondary schools, pedestrian paths and beaches in the surrounding area.

As Pablo Serna, CEO of TM Real Estate Group, points out, "Torrevieja is currently a benchmark in the residential tourism sector both in Spain and internationally, and our project will consolidate this position by promoting one of the most important urban developments in Spain". According to his forecasts, this residential project "will strengthen the area's economic and social development".

Laguna Rosa, the first development

Laguna Rosa will be the first Lagoon Village development. It will include 240 different property types, such as flats, bungalows and semi-detached and detached villas. The homes have between one and three bedrooms and bathrooms, an outdoor space, and a surface area of between 70 and 260 m2. They are already on sale starting at €210,000, although the most exclusive units cost more than half a million euros. The expected delivery date is July 2025.

Ground-floor flats and bungalows will have a garden, and the top-floor flats will have a solarium. All properties are very bright and spacious. The villas have a large garden with the option of a private swimming pool. All homes will have outdoor and/or basement parking with or without storage room, depending on property type. Moreover, the complex has 15,200 m2 of communal areas and a wide range of services with the Mediterranean Sea as a backdrop. Homeowners can choose the furniture.

In this first development, the real estate company will allocate more than €63 million, continuing its development and expansion in Torrevieja, promoting residential tourism on the Costa Blanca.
