If you’re already thinking about where to getaway for your next holidays, here’s a few ideas – the cheapest coastal destinations in Europe. According to the holiday cost barometer from the Post Office financial services, the Bulgarian Sunny Beach is the cheapest, not counting the price of travel and accommodation. Also in the Top 10 are the Spanish beaches on the Costa del Sol and the Costa Blanca.
The ranking takes into account nine small but common expenses that you pay for when you go to the beach: from a coffee, to a bottle of beer or Coca-Cola, a glass of wine, a bottle of water, sunscreen, insect repellent, lunch and dinner for two. What’s left out of this calculation is the price of the plane ticket and the accommodation costs.
