Villa Yasmin, a mansion in Port d’Andratx, Mallorca was originally owned by Florentino Pérez, president of Real Madrid. Years later, in 2017, it was purchased by the Schumacher family for 30 million euros. The family of Formula 1 driver Michael Schumacher, who still suffers the aftermath of a ski accident in 2014, bought the property located in the Las Brisas neighbourhood as a haven of tranquillity in one of the most most exclusive areas on the island.
The property consists of a plot of land of 13,000 m2 (140,000 sq ft), with 3,000 m2 (32,300 sq ft) of living space divided into three houses: a main mansion and two smaller ones. The villa also has two swimming pools, a gym and even a heliport. Other than this, the interior design of the property is a total mystery and there are very few photos, except those shown below.
Today, properties with similar features to Michael Schumacher's in the exclusive area of Port d’Andratx can easily exceed 40 million euros, thanks to the continuous growth of the luxury real estate market in Mallorca. The area is famous for attracting high-profile individuals, from elite athletes to international businesspeople, seeking privacy. View more luxury fincas for sale in Mallorca.
Villa Yasmin has also recently hit the headlines once again, as it has been reported that Schumacher's daughter Gina recently celebrated her wedding at the property, with rumours that the ex-Formula 1 driver made his first "public" appearance since his accident.
