
A piece of history from Spanish cinema and of the famous Spaghetti Western productions directed by Italian director Sergio Leone in the 1960s is for sale in the Tabernas desert in Almería. The village that recreates the American Wild West, christened Western Leone, is for sale for 2.8 million euros on idealista.
What Spaghetti Westerns were filmed in Almería? The 8.5 hectare plot has urban and rustic properties, and preserves the original sets from the filming of the movie Once Upon a Time in the West, starring Claudia Cardinale, Charles Bronson and Henry Fonda, and directed by Sergio Leone. This piece of desert land in Almería into also turned into the Wild West of the USA, from Arizona to Texas, with mythical films such as The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, For a Few Dollars More or A Fistful of Dollars starring Hollywood star, Clint Eastwood.

In its current state, Spain's Spaghetti Western village maintains the original movie sets, preserved after filming and receives tourist visits like a theme park. It has different types of buildings, including a hall for shows, with a mythical western bar, a shop, bathrooms for public use, a photography studio and stables.

According to the listing of the village for sale on idealista, it is currently being visited by tourists as a theme park, but it is ideal for a world-class film studio with covered halls and modern decorations or an amusement park.
