The interest of foreign buyers in buying a property in Spain has returned after the pandemic and, in addition to the large markets in which they are traditionally interested, many buyers have set their sights on small inland towns in which to establish their first or second homes, although not too far from the sea or the areas of that are traditionally most popular with expats moving to Spain. Let's have a closer look at foreigners' favourite non-coastal towns to buy property in Spain.

According to a study carried out by idealista, Ciudad Quesada (Alicante) is the non-coastal municipality with the highest volume of property searches for sale from abroad.
