Developer Taylor Wimpey has announced a €32 million investment to build two residential developments on the Costa Blanca, one in Dénia and the other in Finestrat, both in the province of Alicante.

The first project, Sora, will comprise 86 two- and three-bedroom flats and duplexes, priced from €315,000. The second, Nature, will include 38 three-bedroom townhouses, starting at €425,000. Both developments are scheduled for completion in the third quarter of 2027.

Meanwhile, the Nature residential complex, located in the Balcón de Finestrat urbanisation, will comprise 38 three-bedroom townhouses, now on the market from €425,000. This development represents an investment of €9 million.

All homes will have an A energy rating, along with landscaped gardens and communal areas. They will also benefit from plenty of natural light and be close to golf courses, beaches and leisure facilities. They are due for completion in the third quarter of 2027.

International and national interest

Taylor Wimpey expects that in Dénia, more than half of buyers will be Spanish – mainly couples aged 40 to 60 seeking a high-quality home on the Costa Blanca. “Dénia has established itself as a very solid destination for Spanish buyers, who appreciate the climate and food, as well as the connectivity and safety,” said Lola Mira, Regional Director of Taylor Wimpey Spain on the Costa Blanca, following the presentation.

At the Nature residential complex, however, the developer anticipates a predominantly international profile, led by European couples aged 40 to 55 – particularly from the UK, the Netherlands and the Nordic countries, Mira added.

What makes the Valencian Community and Alicante appealing

The Valencian Community continues to hold a clear advantage over other coastal destinations. It closed the third quarter with more than 27,000 home sales and has exceeded 100,000 transactions in the past 12 months, recording double-digit year-on-year growth, according to data provided by the developer.

New-build housing continues to make a strong contribution to this volume, supported by a more stable interest rate environment and the gradual normalisation of mortgage financing.

This has influenced housing prices, which rose by 14.3% year on year in October to €2,655/m², reaching a new historical high.
