Record employment drives rental demand in Spain's major cities

The financial institution's research service has revised upward the growth estimates in 2024 in all the autonomous communities, except in the Basque Country, which remains stable. According to BBVA Research, seven regions will grow above what is estimated for the country as a whole (2.5%), with the Balearic Islands, the Canary Islands and Madrid, followed by Navarra, Aragon, Castile and Leon and Catalonia.
