Record number of new builds in Alicante in 2024

The Alicante College of Technical Architecture (COATA) has reported the start of 2,689 homes in Q2 this year, thus becoming the second-highest number in the last 15 years, and only surpassed by Q2 2023, with 3,001 licences for new builds. Carlos Casas, president of COATA, has assured that "we are facing an exceptional quarter, it shows a very high volume of activity, and yet, it continues to reflect a decrease in it when compared to the previous year."
