The state of Vermont launched a "Remote Worker Grant Programme" contest that provides two-year assistance, up to a maximum of 10,000 dollars, to all workers willing to move to the second least populated state in the United States. The only condition is to have an employment contract in another state, but this can be done remotely.

This small Greek island in the south of the Peloponnese peninsula, with only 40 inhabitants, launched a campaign to offer families who want to move to the island a house, land to grow crops and a cheque of 500 euros a month.

Known as "La Piccola Napoli", the small town of Puglia in the region of Foggia, which now has only 2,000 inhabitants, offers a grant of 800 euros per person and 2,000 euros for couples with children in exchange for moving to this town.

The American city of Tulsa is trying to attract new workers by offering a cheque of 10,000 dollars consisting of 2,500 euros for the cost of the move, a monthly salary of 500 dollars for one year and a bonus of 1,500 dollars at the end of one year of residence. In addition, a workplace is also offered in downtown Tulsa.

Sambuca, Italy

Due to once again the lack of inhabitants, the province of Saskatchewan in western Canada has decided to offer about 13,000 euros to those who decide to move there.

Baltimore, USA

The city of Baltimore has announced two contests for those who wish to purchase a property and move to the city in Maryland. The first called "Buy in Baltimore" gives 30 lucky people access to a 5,000-dollar grant to buy a home. The second, "Vacants to Value" on the other hand, provides a deposit of the equivalent to 10,000 euros for the purchase of an empty house in the city, as long as the house is renovated and a mortgage of more than 517,000 euros has not been paid to buy it. Both opportunities are open to the public.
